Please stay out of the grass.

Anything can awaken in there.

Dangerous to wake up with something like that at your feet. It's good you spotted the lion in time. Was she yawning or roaring?
Rob Martin: Yawning Delia.
This boy was resting after a feed I think.
They stayed in place for about a day.

Rob Martin: thanks Richard.

You won't catch me looking for bugs there, Rob, but its a great Cat shot.
Rob Martin: Bugs are for the camps in Africa Ray.

Like you say, "Don't walk in the grass !!" ....
Great realisation !
Rob Martin: absolutely Fabrice.

Wonderful stuff Rob. Wonder how it would look as a square crop?
Rob Martin: Agree Bill, it is a little centered. I use centre point focus and in this case, there was little else to focus on in the few moments I had....
Will give it a try
Cheers
Rob
oh my--you can hardly see him. Great shot as it so clearly illustrates just how elusive they can be.
Rob Martin: thanks Dawn
It was a beauty
You made the most of it Rob, it's an unusual perspective, nice one.
Rob Martin: thanks mate.
Lion shots can be trite. I tried to get this as something a little different
