Here's another filler from our 2006 USA trip. I will reprocess this to make it better, later. At least we're improving, health wise. Pattaya - 2003

This was Pattaya in a different time, 7 years ago. Our golfing trip there two weeks ago showed a totally different place. This shop, alas, doesn't exist any more. I tried many times to buy that Carved monk for a reasonable price. But they wouldn't sell it. I suspect they wanted to get full tourist ripoff prices. I have a few more shots to come from this 2003 trip......

Huka Falls - New Zealand

Above the falls you can see some people nestled in the trees. This will give scale. This is the Waikato River, emptying out of Lake Taupo in the middle of New Zealand. Now and then Anglers get caught upstream by the opening of the gates and get washed over this. Survival is unlikely. Sao and I are laid up sick, so I post this and head back to the sanctuary of pills and sleep.... Rob Comments and follows will resume as soon as I feel alive enough to do it Cheers Rob

Angkor Wat - 2004

Angkor Wat - Cambodia Here's a view not often seen. The rebuild of the libraries in the middle are complete. The refurbishment of the main causeway is complete. The moat goes all around the temple, all distances are relevant and the complex is in an East West orientation. This is one of my favourite places. On sundays, locals picnic all around the great Wat. Children are selling their wares all over and are great sales agents. The food nearby is great too. Cambodian Beef, with Cambodian Pepper... delicious!! This is technically a crap photo, but spruced up it gives a great visual into the Complex.

Seven Sisters

Graduation Day - Thailand

Here's a Picture of Sao's Sister "Porn" or "Pornthip", posing in the Rot Fai park, near Queen Sirikit Park in Thailand. The University was a drab dreary place full of people, so we moved somewhere more aesthetic. I set this shot up to have Porn sit on the Chair alone, having some of her family at the back, looking nonchalant.... A Brother, three Sisters and three Nieces..... Sao is next to me shooting something similar.... Hope you like it.... One of the Sisters in the Background is graduation tomorrow, we're up at 5am to go and do a dawn shoot.... For whom the Bell tolls...

This is from a week or so ago at Phuttaomon. The bells are hit with strategically placed sticks. No rules, kids have a whack at it as does grandma and all in between. Quite the racket.... In some temples these bells are very old, valuable and have significant religious meaning. For me, they are bells. Rob
